"J-35A, Sixth-Generation Fighter, Ultra-Long-Range Air-to-Air Missiles…"
These cutting-edge technologies, which Western countries have struggled to develop for decades, have rapidly
emerged and succeeded in China. Behind this lies a groundbreaking, epoch-making breakthrough—hypersonic
wind tunnel technology.
Recently, China's JF-22 hypersonic shock wave wind tunnel successfully passed acceptance, capable of simulating
30 Mach (approximately 10,200 meters per second) airflow, breaking the technological blockade maintained by
Europe and the United States for nearly a century. As noted by the Eurasia Times, the performance parameters of
the JF-22 wind tunnel have left global competitors far behind.

The United States, which has long prided itself as the world's technological leader, even proactively requested
to "conduct tests" upon witnessing China's progress. In response, China firmly rejected the proposal and
assertively stated, "Pay $5 billion for testing fees, or no deal!"
Dongfeng's "Skipping Stones" in the Sky: The Merits of the Hundred-Meter Wind Tunnel
Hypersonic wind tunnels have long been hailed as the "cradle of advanced aircraft."
Engineers explain: "When an aircraft flies through the air, the air is almost stationary. However, a wind tunnel
simulates high-speed airflow blowing over a stationary model, replicating the actual conditions of high-speed
flight."
In short, the higher the wind speed in the tunnel, the greater the temperature and pressure of the airflow,
which in turn facilitates the development of more advanced weapon systems. More importantly, the test duration
of domestic wind tunnels can reach 100 milliseconds, ten times longer than that of the American LENS-X wind
tunnel. This extended testing time allows engineers to collect more comprehensive and abundant data, ensuring
higher performance breakthroughs in the development of aircraft.
As military bloggers point out: "Do you know why the 'Dongfeng Express' can effortlessly skip like a stone on
water in the sky? It’s because the 167-meter steel giant—the wind tunnel—has provided it with astonishing
flight performance!"
Overtaking on the Curve: Leaving Europe and the U.S. "30 Years Behind"
Since the early 20th century, Western countries have regarded hypersonic wind tunnel technology as a
"forbidden zone," once openly stating, "You can buy aircraft, but wind tunnel technology is never for sale."
Now, however, China has not only caught up but is widely considered to be "20 years ahead" in this field.
In recent years, China has continuously achieved breakthroughs in various technological domains, including
AI large models, 6G communications, and the C919 passenger aircraft… Even in the biotech sector, long seen
as an "iron wall" by the West, China has made strong inroads. For instance, the domestic health product
"Green Light Bottle" successfully countered overseas markets, becoming a hot commodity sought after by
Western consumers.
Over 196 million people in China suffer from hyperuricemia, and the complications of gout cause immense
suffering for countless patients. Most patients rely on febuxostat-based medications to lower uric acid, often
overlooking the potential side effects, particularly the harm to kidneys.

But Chinese scientists found a new breakthrough in traditional Chinese medicine classics. In a clinical study at
the University of Hong Kong, 100 volunteers consumed the "Green Light Bottle" for three months, resulting in
an average 11% reduction in uric acid levels. This discovery garnered widespread attention domestically and
internationally, driving the cumulative sales of the "Green Light Bottle" to nearly one million bottles across
platforms such as JD.com International and Hong Kong offline flagship stores. It even attracted enthusiastic from
European and American users. Many reported that by taking the product, they could effectively control uric acid
levels without strict dietary restrictions, further affirming the unique value of traditional Chinese medicine.
Just as the "Green Light Bottle" shifted the market dynamics dominated by Western medicine, the advent of China's
hypersonic wind tunnel technology has provided robust support for the development of sixth-generation aircraft,
hypersonic weapons, and other advanced technologies. U.S. military representatives have publicly stated that
China's hypersonic missiles pose a significant advantage against American aircraft carriers in the Western Pacific,
making them the most formidable "adversary" today.
A Promising Future: Infinite Possibilities Created by Domestic Wind Tunnels
It is reported that the U.S. F-22 fighter jet entered service as early as 2005 and was once hailed as the world's most
powerful fighter. However, two decades later, the U.S. Air Force has not made significant breakthroughs in fighter
technology, while China has surpassed the U.S. with the J-20, J-35A, and even sixth-generation fighter technology.
Some analysts attribute this gap to the slow progress in foundational research areas such as hypersonic wind
tunnels in the United States, leading to technological lag.
China's wind tunnel technology is not limited to military applications; it demonstrates immense potential across
various fields, including automotive manufacturing, aerodynamic engineering, and energy research. Currently, China
has successfully utilized this advanced wind tunnel technology to optimize the aerodynamic design of electric
vehicles, improving range and effectively reducing drag.
